Stantec shortlisted for three industry accolades at 2024 NCE Awards

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has been shortlisted in three prestigious categories at this year’s New Civil Engineer (NCE) Awards.

The interdisciplinary firm is up for Best Place to Work, Impact in Water & Environment, and International Consultancy of the Year, reflecting its ongoing commitments to its people and the planet.

The NCE Awards recognise and celebrate the most innovative, impactful, and inspirational firms operating in civil engineering. Entries are vigorously judged by an independent panel of more than 70 industry clients, academics, industry bodies, and associations. At the 2023 event, Stantec was named Consultancy of the Year.

Stantec supports world-leading clients in designing iconic and transformative projects across the built environment. In the UK and Ireland, the firm has around 3,000 employees and 30 offices, working hard to redefine what is possible in the world of design and engineering.

The challenges Stantec’s clients and communities face require diverse perspectives to identify the best solutions. The shortlisting for Best Place to Work recognises the company’s unique approach to help attract, develop, and retain a talented, motivated workforce ready to meet demands. Stantec has recently launched its largest recruitment drive across the UK & Ireland and created an accelerator experience for new and existing colleagues to boost their careers.

The NCE Awards will be held on 2 July at an event in the Grosvener House in London.
