Paul Housego joins Stantec to lead Cambridge Buildings team

Housego will support the growth and development of Stantec’s interdisciplinary buildings offering in the Cambridge region

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has appointed Paul Housego as its director for Buildings. In his new role, he will use his experience to further strengthen Stantec’s expertise in the east of England across public and private sectors supporting national and regional clients.

Based in Stantec’s Cambridge office, Housego will work closely with existing clients and teams, developing new relationships, and supporting opportunities across the wider business. 

Housego brings more than 30 years’ experience within the buildings sector and is a chartered structural engineer. He was previously a director at Rolton Group, leading the firm’s Structural Service line across the UK.

He has built an extensive bank of knowledge from working on interdisciplinary projects across a range of sectors including residential, advanced manufacturing, education, automotive, and commercial. Housego will work at Stantec in a critical role helping accelerate the decarbonisation of buildings. His detailed technical understanding has resulted in significant achievements in reducing embodied carbon across the built environment.  

This strategic appointment comes as the firm strengthens its decades of structural and MEP engineering capabilities across various sectors in the Cambridge region. The Cambridge Buildings team has been involved in many high-profile projects in recent years including the North West Cambridge Development which is now known as Eddington and Alconbury Weald.
