Two Stantec planning and community development teams picked up ‘Property Consultancy of the Year’ and ‘Consultancy Team of the Year’

Two planning and community development teams at Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, have come out on top at this year’s Insider Property Awards.
Colleagues from Stantec’s Manchester office won in the ‘Property Consultancy of the Year’ category at the Liverpool City Region event. Meanwhile in the other end of the country, the Company’s South West Community Development Team based across Bristol, Exeter, and Taunton was named ‘Consultancy Team of the Year’ at the South West Insider Property Awards.
The Insider Property Awards are hosted across several regions throughout the UK, with the events aiming to represent and celebrate excellence in property and the built environment. This year’s Liverpool City Region and South West Region presentations were held on the same evening in October.
Community Development is Stantec’s approach to creating places and opportunities in which communities can grow. Stantec’s planning and community development team in the Manchester Bridge Street office won in their category after demonstrating how they were significantly growing their client base and providing market leading planning, design, heritage, and environmental consultancy services across the region. In the last year, this team has advised on the delivery of more than 1,200 new homes, 195,000 square feet (sq.ft.) of office space, 48,500sq.ft. of retail floorspace, 13,800sq.ft. of education space, and 37,000sq.ft. of floorspace for research and development in the city region.

Stantec’s Community Development South West Infrastructure team delivers consultancy advice in civil engineering, town and transport planning, and environmental services to public and private sectors. These colleagues supported Stantec in being named ‘Consultancy firm of the Year’, having impressed the judges by showcasing a variety of projects that advance the quality of life in southwest communities. The Taunton office has been leading the way in the development sector supporting clients with nutrient neutrality strategies, creating workable solutions to unlock development across the UK.
