Stantec appointed to the Notting Hill Genesis Development Consultant’s Framework

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) has appointed Stantec to its development consultant’s framework to support the delivery of new homes across London.

Stantec has been appointed to the four-year framework, which can be extended to up to 6 years, to support NHG in the delivery of a variety of mixed-tenure and mixed-use schemes that include affordable and private homes as well as commercial properties to create thriving communities. Stantec has been appointed to three lots on the framework, transport and highways consultancy, civil and structural engineering, and mechanical and electrical consultancy.

NHG is one of the largest housing associations in the country, with more than 66,000 homes across London and the south-east. They are committed to delivering housing that is affordable for all, building quality homes and creating diverse communities. NHG plan to deliver 7000 new homes over the next five years in the Greater London area.

The framework has been established to ensure the provision of good quality homes while delivering value-for-money, high quality design and high standards of health and safety. In addition, the objectives of the framework aim to provide improvements in sustainability while reducing environmental impacts and introducing social value initiatives; they also encourage effective relationships with local communities and project stakeholders. From a technical perspective, all consultants appointed to the framework are expected to be able to employ modern methods of construction (MMC) and electronic information management methods such as BIM.

Stantec teams will provide general advice and guidance across all three lots, as well as a more detailed range of services in relation to new-build residential and mixed-use developments primarily across urban and suburban sites in Greater London.

Stantec has worked across nearly every London borough on high-profile projects including Waltham Forest Town Hall Masterplan, Elephant Park, Kings Cross Central, Agar Grove Estate in Camden, South Thamesmead, and Old Oak Common.
