Hisham has an organic relationship with groundwater. He has over 30 years of experience studying the behavior and characteristics of groundwater and the impact of human activity upon it. An expert in groundwater modelling, he’s passionate about modelling as a learning and prediction tool that can support decision making by clarifying the dimensions of risk and uncertainty.
He has provided his expertise worldwide in the public, private, and non-government organisation sectors in areas of resource investigation, monitoring, assessment, development, and management. He enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams and across cultures. Hisham measures his success in being able to communicate hydrogeological concepts to diverse audiences, making the invisible visible, and providing reliable, practical advice to clients and stakeholders.
Outside of work, he enjoys overlanding, off roading, boating, fishing, and most importantly—time with his family and friends.
