Mark Wollina

Principal Project Manager, Project Director, Treatment Delivery

Photo of Mark

Mark supports teams nationally in delivering excellence for water and wastewater treatment projects. His work protects communities’ right to clean drinking water and looks after the environment by treating and discharging wastewater safely.

Highlights of Mark’s career include the rising main duplication project in Petone—the first time a tunnel boring machine was utilised in the region to install a one metre-diameter pipe—and the Porirua wastewater treatment plant hydraulic upgrade project, meeting tight resource consent deadlines to mitigate prolonged unscreened wastewater discharges to the sea. However, the Kaitoke Flume Bridge is Mark’s standout. This key project strengthens water supply resilience in an earthquake-prone location, making it a career milestone with immense community benefits.

Mark is known for delivering what’s promised and supporting clients to drive successful outcomes—as a Wellingtonian, he’s proud to have worked on award-winning local projects in his own community.

Outside of work, Mark loves helping to build and restore camper vans—when he’s not touring around the country in one himself
