Wrigley Field

As the Cubs took the field on Opening Day 2016, they entered a stadium undergoing a dramatic restoration.

Wrigley Field was due for an aesthetic makeover and structural rehabilitation, but neither the Chicago Cubs nor their fans would give up a season in their home stadium. This meant our team had to plan, schedule, and develop the multiphase transformation at an active major league ballpark.

Wrigley Field is deeply engrained in the cultural tapestry of Chicago, and we embraced the challenge of restoring this national landmark to its former glory. The goal was to preserve and revive the facility, balancing historical reverence with contemporary expectations. We incorporated modern designs to feel authentic, and our structural improvements will take Wrigley through another century of Major League Baseball.

The project would ultimately cost $500 million and include a redefined clubhouse, adjacent hotel, front office, and outdoor plaza. Wrigley Field was anticipating a 2018 completion date, but the boys couldn’t wait. On November 2nd, 2016, the Cubs brought the World Series Championship home to Chicago where six million fans celebrated 108 years in the making.
