We approached our civil and underground power services with an eye to retaining as much natural area as possible

Bushmead Estate is Perth’s newest suburb, an urban infill on a defunct Australian Defence Force site. One challenge with developing there? It required existing firing range infrastructure to be removed (whilst avoiding any unexploded ordinance issues). Our civil and underground power engineers helped develop the landscape while safely navigating the project’s intricacies.

We contributed project feasibility, servicing investigation, authority liaison, and civil consultancy design. We also completed reality modelling and superintendence of over 900 residential lots and numerous offsite service and transport network upgrades.

Our services included earthworks, retaining walls, roadworks, stormwater drainage, wastewater, and water reticulation as well as all power, communications, and street lighting components. Now complete, the Bushmead Estate suburb is surrounded by 185 hectares (457 acres) of retained bushland.
