As our North American Lead for Waste Management, Peter appreciates the value of having knowledge of several engineering disciplines to deliver effective waste management projects. From hydrogeology to civil, mechanical, environmental, and electrical engineering—a broad base of knowledge helps to fully understand how waste materials behave during the variety of processing methods that facilities use to meet regulations.
Bringing appropriate disciplines to the table and communicating effectively to devise the best solutions is key. An aspect of project management he particularly enjoys is working with leadership to identify internal talent and create a cohesive team. Having been a client for similar projects for over 20 years, Peter brings a valuable perspective and a keen understanding of his clients’ needs. As a result, he is able to focus innovative engineering ideas on operational realities. He is applying this approach to an anerobic digester project using primarily agricultural feedstock and which is unique for anerobic digestors in Canada.
When not in the office, you may find Peter golfing or exploring the history, culture, and the sights and scenery of Eastern Canada.
