Georgina is a passionate catchment scientist with 15 years of experience in the protection of groundwater and surface waters. She’s committed to ensuring future resilience in terms of the provision of drinking water and environmental protection.
In her position, Georgina reviews the impacts of new drinking water sources on water quality for strategic resource options and drought resilience schemes, including reviewing Water Framework Directive implications such as drinking water protected areas and safeguard zones. She has specific technical expertise in drinking water safety plan catchment risk assessments, including cryptosporidium risk assessments. Alongside her technical knowledge, Georgina is a capable project manager and has strong communication skills. She’s passionate about ensuring catchment risks and solutions are considered for all drinking water projects and work in harmony with engineered solutions.
