A member of our Toronto team, Robyn is an architect working in healthcare and community support services. Focusing on projects like emergency shelters, transitional housing, and mental health support centers, her designs directly impact the lives of the people she shares her city with.
Robyn’s work is centered around three areas: health and wellness, building science, and computational design. To her, it’s important to design in a way that enhances the wellbeing of the occupants, regardless of the building type or nature of activity that will happen inside of it. Robyn always aims to accomplish higher than the minimum standards for building envelopes and is always looking for ways to improve—particularly through using visual programming and parametric design. Her approach to finding creative solutions is through information-based and data-driven design.
Having grown up in Nova Scotia, Robyn loves being by the water whenever she can. She likes to play hockey, hike, knit, and can often be found catching up on her favorite podcasts.
