Anthony (Ant) is a senior environmental engineer, manager of our Environmental team in Ottawa, and a key contact for hydrogeology, contaminants, and hazardous materials. He brings a diverse set of experiences, ranging from assessing and cleaning up contaminated sites to modelling the release of radionuclides from deep geological repositories, assessing and addressing hazardous materials in buildings, and bioremediation work in a permafrost zone.
Passionate about analyzing and interpretating data, Ant loves using a diversity of techniques to solve problems. His clients have ranged from individual homeowners to federal departments—and every level in between—and his sites have ranged from simple (like a fuel oil spill), to highly complex and contentious (such as disputes between sophisticated and litigative landowners). Ant uses his three degrees in civil engineering to help in the design and construction of infrastructure and enjoys the complexities of excess materials management and occupational health and safety during construction. He’s a great communicator and defines success as when parties to a seemingly intractable problem finally understand and agree.
Outside of work Ant is an avid road cyclist, an amateur photographer, veggie gardener, husband, parent, and volunteer! Being a fan of efficiency, he especially likes activities that combine multiple interests into one fun package.
