Jan is a principal responsible for scope development, client management, project management, project execution, and providing added value to overall project delivery. He has extensive experience within the commercial, public, critical facility, residential, and hospitality sectors, delivering projects such as New York City’s new Public Health Lab.
Known for advanced building systems design, Jan uses his expertise in the areas of building system operation and interaction, high performance building design, and the operation of Envelop/MEP/FP/FA systems. He most enjoys providing value to the client or owner and verifying the building systems are operating to their expectations. As the amount of information and coordination required for a project is vast and complicated, Jan sees the commissioning process as intending to maximize the building design life cycle, which will minimize the resource impact for both the client and the community.
