A community champion for students and their learning environments, Meredith brings the unique perspective of more than 20 years working in education, including nine years as the director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) for Fort Bend Independent School District (ISD). Meredith believes her background complements her eye for the design of enriching spaces and helps her translate the needs of students and educators to the design team.
As our Research + Benchmarking (R+B) program leader, she supports internal investigation of topics that are important to improving education design. In this role, Meredith provides oversight to our participating practitioners, helping them produce meaningful research for our teams and clients.
Meredith is motivated daily by the idea that design can have a deeply positive impact and should celebrate the differences between communities. She believes this can be achieved by listening and recognizing that one size does not fit all clients. A natural collaborator, Meredith values the views of clients, parents, students, and stakeholders. Her priority on every school project is for students to feel welcome, safe, secure, and fully engaged in their learning.
