A recognized leader in hydropower licensing, relicensing, and license implementation and compliance, Heidi provides strategic and regulatory advice across a range of environmental, legislative, and policy issues affecting the hydropower industry. For nearly 20 years, she’s managed complex Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing matters while building client and stakeholder teams.
Some of Heidi’s recent work includes managing the relicensing effort of a 4.1 MW run-of-river project on the Boise River, leading the licensing process and application, implementation, and environmental monitoring for a 6.7 MW new hydro project in Alaska, and supporting the development of a new pumped storage project in northern California.
When not helping her clients navigate complex state and federal regulations, Heidi enjoys playing tennis, skiing, keeping up with her young daughter Claire, and traveling to Alaska and Hawaii.
