With over a decade of experience in the mechanical consulting engineering field, Kellen has had significant roles in all aspects of project delivery, including proposals, preliminary reporting and design development, tender management, and construction administration.
Kellen seeks to improve building performance in each project, considering the environment and occupant wellbeing. He’s worked on projects for a wide variety of clients including Public Services and Procurement Canada, Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions (BGIS), the RCMP, the City of Ottawa, and Parks Canada. In his role, Kellen works with a multi-disciplinary to lead reports, designs, and peer reviews of complex mechanical scopes. His design experience includes HVAC, plumbing, controls, and fuel systems, among other fields. Through direct field experience, he’s gained a comprehensive knowledge of building systems and how to modernize buildings through greening technologies.
Outside of work, you’ll find Kellen spending time outdoors mountain biking during the summer months and inside during the winter playing video games, reading, and generally spending time with his wife and dog.
