As a process engineering intern, Meghan is passionate about all things water. She enjoys facing the challenges that come along with designing for improved and optimized water systems.
Meghan was recently involved in updating a water quality facility plan. Based on the results of a comprehensive performance evaluation, she assisted in identifying risks related to raw water quality monitoring, chemical dosing, and unit process capacity for future flows. She also assisted in the prioritization of these risks using qualitative and quantitative methods, taking into consideration climate change, the environment, and customer satisfaction. The outcome of this project was a prioritized list of recommended upgrade projects that can be implemented to improve the quantity and quality of drinking water in the area.
Away from her work with water, Meghan enjoys skiing, whether it’s downhill or cross-country. She also likes reading, climbing, and knitting.
