As a design associate, Phil brings added value and experience in consulting engineering and design services to various aspects of project delivery. Through his over 15 years in industry, he’s developed a wide-ranging understanding that spans from early planning to construction and project handover.
A member of the leadership in our Ottawa Buildings team, Phil actively contributes to design, project management, business development, and mentorship. He most enjoys the teamwork aspect of his job—he finds joy when all team members from clients to contractors work together to solve design and construction challenges.
Phil also supports specialty buildings engineering services including alternative project delivery methods, district energy, commissioning, and energy and sustainability services. Some of his most notable efforts include the successful multidisciplinary implementation, commissioning, and handover of Energy Services Acquisition Program (ESAP) building conversion projects in Ottawa.
When he isn’t working on buildings engineering projects or mentoring team members, you’ll find Phil playing a variety of sports, attending festivals, renovating his home, cooking with friends and family, and watching movies with plenty of snacks on hand.
