Ben can trace his passion for design all the way back to a childhood love of building cities with Lego. Today, he takes big ideas and concepts and turns them into detailed digital models ready for drafting, discussing, tendering, and construction.
Ben designs infrastructure that improves livability, resulting in faster commute times, increased safety, ease of access to essential services, improved economies through tourism, and better-connected communities. He is known for his commercial design capabilities, ranging from carparks, fuel stations, and police facilities to larger business parks and road infrastructure. His design approach is people-focused, prioritizing accessibility and green space.
The great thing about designing green spaces and public infrastructure is getting to enjoy them outside of work too. Ben and his family take full advantage of their local environment, enjoying walks on the beach and in the forest, exploring the natural landscape and camping whenever they can.
