As a terrestrial ecologist, Lisa specializes in natural heritage features such as wildlife, plants, and the habitats that support them. Her love of nature began at an early age, and at eight years old she organized a nature club for a group of like-minded playground friends. Now, her passion for the natural world and driving sustainable practices inspires her work with ecosystems.
Lisa designs and implements ecological study programs and supports reporting and permitting. She helps clients achieve their goals and navigate natural heritage policy. If you ask her, she’ll say the most rewarding aspect of project work is seeing clients’ visions combine with sustainability objectives. A notable project? The 905 Sarnia development project in London, Ontario where a created drainage pond improved ecological value for wildlife, while allowing essential residential development to continue in the area.
When she’s not working with nature, Lisa likes to immerse herself in it—hiking and taking road trips to explore new vistas in her converted minivan camper.
