Since graduate studies, Heather’s education has had a clear focus—doing her part to support clean water, enhance sustainability, and protect human health and the environment. Shortly after earning her PhD in environmental engineering, she joined Stantec to act on that focus.
Heather has played a prominent role in key Arizona projects, wearing several hats as a civil engineer. She’s provided water quality testing for the City of Buckeye’s Broadway Road Water Campus, as well as wastewater treatment expertise for the Superstition Mountains Community Facilities District Wastewater Treatment Facility Master Plans and Chandler Pecos Surface Water Treatment Plant Assessment. Heather also frequently supports project management across water and wastewater initiatives in Arizona, California, and Florida.
Outside of Stantec, Heather is an active member of the AZ Water Association and the overall water community. This helps her stay engaged and develop relationships in both the public and private sectors, enhancing her understanding of how projects impact their communities.
