With over a decade of experience in Turkey and Australia, Ildem has worked on all aspects of structural engineering.
Ildem loves the unique challenge that each project brings—she enjoys creating bespoke designs that balance technical and commercial constraints. She has experience across all aspects structural engineering in transportation, including the design of post tensioned and pretensioned bridges/viaducts, steel bridges, underpasses, culverts, gantries, and retaining walls. Ildem also has expertise in preparing models of all types of highway and railway structures and has shown her flexibility by working extensively across different codes and standards.
With her broad experience, Ildem has worked on many significant projects, including the superstructure design for the Montem Street bridge and proof engineering check for Molonglo River bridge which involved a complicated, incremental launching construction method. She also has an experience with project design of a balanced cantilever method of bridge construction.
When she’s not at work, Ildem likes to travel and experience the great outdoors with her husband and friends and is a keen participant in Pilates reformer.
