As a child, Tamara was passionate about collecting rocks. Now, she’s a senior environmental scientist guided by a passion for climate action, the energy transition, and a desire to tell a site’s story using the connections that nature has to offer. She specializes in using nature-based solutions to achieve project goals without compromising the ecosystem for future generations.
With nearly two decades of experience in the Canadian environmental consulting industry, Tamara focuses on the upstream oil and gas industry and contaminated sites in discontinuous and continuous permafrost environments. She has experience in all aspects of contaminated site assessment and remediation. As a member of the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board (CECAB), she’s a Canadian Environmental Professional (EP) and is also registered with the Alberta Institute of Agrology, RT(Ag).
Taking her passion for the environment to her spare moments, Tamara enjoys hiking and mountain biking. She also likes giving back to her community, volunteering at animal shelters and urban agriculture initiatives.
