As land development engineer for our Community Development team in Markham, Ontario, Nathan plays a significant role in the layout of where people in the region learn, shop, live, and work. He applies his experience in project management, civil design, and contract management to a wide variety of commercial and institutional projects.
Nathan plays an integral role in land development projects from inception to completion, including coordinating and securing regulatory approvals, detailed civil design, preparing tender documents, and managing multi-discipline teams. Some projects he’s proud to have contributed to include serving as program manager for the York Catholic District School Board grounds work program and as a member of our Walmart development team. Throughout every project, Nathan always considers the end user’s point of view and finds ways to make projects more inviting and valued in the community.
Outside of work, Nathan plays soccer in a competitive men’s league in Toronto and is a huge fan of the Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays teams. He also enjoys fishing, Scrabble, and spending time with his family in Portugal.
