Zach is a senior restoration scientist with more than 15 years of experience who has worked on a variety of restoration projects, both public and private. His work focuses on the Chicago region including northwestern Indiana and western Michigan.
Based in Naperville, Illinois, Zach will support business development opportunities, expand grant services, provide project management for ecological consulting and ecosystem restoration contracting projects, assist with project implementation, and support staff training and development. He loves all the prairies, oak savannas, and meadows found in the Chicago region but especially loves to spend time working in the Calumet and coastal regions of Lake Michigan.
On his down time, Zach likes to jump in his canary yellow canoe with his wife and two sons. He also volunteers in his community and serves as a park district commissioner where he advocates for inclusive policies and nature-based solutions.
