For over 20 years, Sarah has shaped her career around improving water resources through ecosystem restoration, flood management, and mitigation. As a civil and environmental engineer, she’s worked primarily in geographic information systems with the development of hydraulic and hydrologic models, plan production, and watershed planning.
Sarah’s passion for nature and water led her to explore stream restoration early in her career where she spent many hours in the field performing stream assessments, designing, permitting, and providing construction observation for numerous mitigation projects. Today, she supports our Ecosystem Restoration team with the management of stream and wetland mitigation projects as well as regional marketing and business development in Kentucky and surrounding states.
Given her love of the great outdoors, it’s no surprise that when she’s not working Sarah can often be found outside adventuring with her husband and four kids.
