Leslie is a seasoned grant writer and urban planner with nearly 25 years of experience. Specializing in restoring missing links within communities, she writes and manages brownfields grants nationwide. Her ability to tell the impactful stories of prospective projects stems from her in-depth understanding of economic development, urban and rural growth, and land development regulations.
Throughout her career, Leslie has successfully obtained funding for communities across the United States. She has also been involved in environmental justice programs, effectively securing collaborative problem-solving and job training grants for communities. But her talents don't end there. She actively engages in conducting community meetings and delivering urban planning services for various projects including street corridor studies, land use plans, and downtown master plan designs.
When she isn’t writing or planning, Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children.
