A geotechnical engineer, Amy leads geotechnical analysis on projects for dams and spillways, carrying out safety reviews and risk assessments for new and existing dams. Focused on collaboration, she partners with clients and our team, connecting geological and historical pieces to create innovative solutions to unique problems. With over ten years of experience, she understands the variation between projects large and small and the fresh perspectives required to find distinctive solutions.

Amy has carried out safety and performance reviews for notable extreme consequence dams across the globe. Undertaking her thesis, she specifically enjoys examining internal erosion failure mechanisms. In her work on projects with complex challenges, her respect and understanding of the fundamentals is essential. Mentoring staff to successfully complete projects, she shares her expertise and passion for protecting the community from risk.

Serving on the Canadian Dams Association communications committee, Amy volunteers as a technical liaison. She’s also an avid explorer—she enjoys biking, hiking, and camping in the mountains, often accompanied by her dog Benson.
