A registered landscape architect, Yifan’s work spans all scales throughout public parks, commercial and mixed-use regional design, campus and institutional planning, municipal design, and infrastructure planning projects in the US and abroad. She has led complex projects with multidisciplinary design teams, from site analysis and design through construction documentation and implementation.
Yifan understands the importance of using design to balance nature, culture, and human behavior. She designs landscapes to reflect and represent the spark that bursts when different cultures and environments meet and how it influences public rhythm and people’s lives. Her passion for landscape architecture is rooted in a love for people, culture, places, and beauty. It brings her pride to create meaningful and inspiring spaces, as she believes everyone deserves to experience them.
When she isn’t designing places, she likes to explore them, measuring the world with her backpack in tow. She also enjoys experiencing places and seeing things from a completely different angle—her daughter’s—visiting museums, and attending shows around the city.
