Steve has more than 25 years of experience in the education field. His work has ranged from new construction to additions and renovations of various sizes in both K-12 and higher education. For the last fifteen years, his focus has been construction administration on a variety of K-12 projects and higher education.
His experience has allowed him to make quick and efficient decisions during construction on behalf of the owner and architect should the need arise—such as on a recent school addition and renovation project in Fairfax County where some unforeseen conditions required creative problem solving in the field. Steve collaborated with the owner, contractor, and consultants to come up with innovative, time sensitive, and economical solutions.
When he isn’t at work, Steve might be coaching girls’ volleyball—having been a coach for almost 20 years, including 10 years as a head coach for a high school—or working on construction projects with friends. In either interest, Steve loves to impart knowledge and help people learn how to work for themselves.
