Passionate about the outdoors, Doug always knew he wanted to work in the environmental field. An internship at the University of Maine segued into a job conducting ecological investigations and restoration at one of the largest Superfund sites in the US. Now, over two decades later, he continues to work with this client evaluating restoration success and the long-term environmental management of the site.
Doug specializes in risk assessments, ecological impact assessments, environmental regulations, coastal resiliency, and nature-based solutions. As a regional growth leader, he brings his leadership to complex projects that require an alliance between scientific, business, and regulatory knowledge to bring success to our clients. He’s particularly proud of projects that use multidisciplinary teams—uniting science, engineering, business, regulatory knowledge, and client relationships to create personalized solutions for our clients.
Doug is a Registered Maine Guide and loves sharing his expertise as an ecologist and outdoorsman with his wife of 25 years and three children.
