Mark is a professional hydrogeologist with over 25 years of experience in groundwater development and water supply investigations. As the demand for water increases, his goal is to find sustainable groundwater resource solutions to meet his clients' current and future water supply needs.
Primarily in the western United States, he has worked to develop, manage, and protect groundwater supplies for a variety of clients from municipal utilities, residential and commercial developers to industrial, mining, and energy clients. His areas of expertise include groundwater availability, well siting, water well design, wellfield design, hydrogeologic logging, well development, aquifer testing, and well rehabilitation. He has completed wells yielding up to 1,800 gallons per minute (6,814 litres per minute) that ranged in depth from less than 100 to 6,000 feet (31 to 1,829 metres). These wells were completed in a variety of geologic settings such as faulted and folded terrain, fractured rock, karst limestone, sedimentary rock, and alluvium.
Taking his passion for rocks and water outside his work, Mark enjoys hiking in the mountains. He loves spending time with his wife and family, playing softball, and cheering on the Colorado Rockies.
