Even after nearly 35 years in his career, Arthur still enjoys learning new things. A senior engineering specialist, he has experience conducting hazard and risk assessments in the oil and gas sector and chemical industry, air quality assessments, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for a wide range of industries. He develops, evaluates, and applies numerical models to help characterize release sources and estimate the risk posed to individuals and society. He frequently reviews facilities that contain a wide range of substances including sour gas, high and low vapor pressure hydrocarbons, ammonia, chlorine, and carbon dioxide.
Arthur’s experience includes developing models to determine regional air quality for moderate to long-range transport problems and CFD for near field dispersion and ventilation assessments. He has completed a variety of specialized modeling assessments relating to pipeline and networked piping system depressurization and incident investigation. Additionally, he’s provided testimony at several regulatory hearings.
Away from the world of hazard and risk assessments, you’ll find Arthur spending his free time playing soccer and skiing.
