A champion of energy transition efforts, Eric helps his clients navigate the renewable and alternative energy markets. Through his background and experience in environmental permitting, due diligence, and compliance, he assists clients with a variety of projects including energy, oil and gas, industrial, land development, coastal facilities, water/wastewater, and public works. Eric is currently engaged with permitting two hydrogen production facilities in the Western US, is heavily involved with carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) efforts in the US, and is Stantec’s project manager for a proposed CCS project in California.
Having worked extensively throughout California, Eric has nearly three decades of experience in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document preparation and review. This gives clients the peace of mind knowing their projects are being smartly guided through tricky permitting processes with ease.
When he isn’t working on permitting and environmental planning, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, mountain biking, hiking, traveling, and attending concerts.
