A member of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Advisory Services teams, Ben develops solutions that empower clients to meet their corporate sustainability goals, specifically focusing on quantifying, managing, and reducing GHG and air pollutant emissions. In doing so, he draws on his multidisciplinary background in environmental engineering, GHG accounting, air quality, and nature-based solutions.
Ben is passionate about using innovative tools to quantify emissions. Recently, he worked on a hydrogen feasibility study, leveraging a scalable calculation tool to evaluate how adopting hydrogen would impact GHG and nitrogen oxide emissions across a wide geography. For an agricultural GHG inventory, he implemented a data management and modeling approach that significantly increased the granularity and efficiency of soil emissions calculations.
When he’s not pursuing sustainable solutions at work, you’ll find Ben in his garden pulling weeds, turning compost, and harvesting his crops.
