Dylan has spent most of his career on the water off Australia’s east coast, collecting valuable ecological data. With experience in environmental and engineering consulting, he specializes in research and analysis, and environmental assessments, as well as the development of supporting management plans and monitoring programs. He’s also monitored and modeled water levels and flows, rainfall, wave climates, and tidal movements in estuarine and offshore environments.
As a senior marine ecologist, Dylan enjoys the research and analytical components of his role where he can provide evidence-based outcomes to clients. When it comes to being out in the field or on the water, he puts safety first for himself and his team. He contributes his diverse skillset, including his experience as a vessel master, to our Water Resource – Flood Resilience team and oil spill monitoring program.
Bringing his passion for the environment to his activities outside work, Dylan enjoys camping, surfing, and spearfishing with friends and family.
