With over three decades of experience, Michael has worked on a variety of project types including institutional, corporate, mixed-use developments, and residential. His responsibilities have ranged from design and project architect to technical and managing architect. As a senior designer, he strives to honor the project vision, designing distinctive spaces that reflect legacy and aspiration.
During his design and engineering team leadership on the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, Michael helped push the boundaries of architectural craft through the museum’s use of parametric design—taking this new technology to its limits and working to realize a seemingly overwhelming and complicated design. Other recent work has included leading the design teams for the Swedish Embassy in Washington DC, Pioneer Park in Shenzhen China, and Roosevelt Universities Vertical Campus in Chicago.
Michael is a designer, builder, and athlete. Fascinated with the process of design connecting vision to craft, he has built a yacht and lives in endless renovation projects. As an athlete he relishes tackling events like the IRONMAN Triathlon.
