Constantino, or “Tino,” offers clients something few can—fifty-five years of experience in his discipline of water and wastewater engineering design. In fact, we are proud to include “emeritus” in his title, senior vice president emeritus, global pumping systems practice leader.
While the technology and tools have changed, a constant is Tino’s philosophy to design water systems that are simple, reliable, safe, economical, constructible, and easy to maintain. Tino practically wrote the book on water system design having developed the Best Practice Guides for pump station designs, pipe and valve selection, chemical feed systems, and Master Specification Guides for process equipment used to this day. Along with the guides, he also enjoys providing mentorship to the newest generation of engineers.
Tino is proud of his track record in the profession having designed systems for locations worldwide. He estimates that he has been involved in the design of water and wastewater pumping plants with an aggregate connected load in excess of 2.0 million horsepower! Away from professional practice and mentoring, Constantino and his wife enjoy outdoor activities from photography, birding, fishing, hiking, bicycling and adventure travels around the world.
