A senior geotechnical engineer and project manager, Jesus has nearly 25 years of experience in the research, design, construction, and operation stages of mining, commercial, and residential projects. He specializes in client relationships, multidisciplinary team management, geotechnical investigation, construction, and operation supervision.
Jesus currently serves as the resident engineer and acting site manager for the Saddle Dam construction project within the Quebrada Linga Tailings Storage Facility at the Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde near Arequipa, Peru. The project includes four zoned rockfill embankment structures, presenting unique challenges and conditions. Jesus leads over 30 professionals with a diverse level of experiences who share a common vision of maintaining the safety and health of our team while delivering quality construction that aligns with our design objectives and design intents.
When he isn’t working on mining efforts, Jesus enjoys traveling, learning about history and culture, photography, and occasionally exploring culinary experiences.
