Working with our team in Hamilton, Ontario, Hillary is a project archeologist and project manager who has had a love of exploring our buried past since high school. She started her career by volunteering at the Cobourg Museum foundation 19 years ago.
Hillary specializes in the archaeology of Indigenous and Euro-Canadian sites in Ontario. She has performed stages 1-4 archaeological assessments across Northern and Southern Ontario in municipal, provincial, and federal projects as well as private enterprise projects. Hillary is known for her extensive experience in archeology, fieldwork, and excavation. Throughout her projects, she has positively engaged and liaised with Indigenous groups and community members, bridging the gap for our clients and finding solutions that work for everyone involved.
“Being in the woods feels great,” Hillary says—she loves camping and hiking in Northern Ontario and being able to explore the beauty of the night sky.
