Jason has over 15 years of experience planning, managing, and completing projects. He’s dedicated his career to flood risk reduction, from risk identification to mitigation and disaster response. His goal is to help communities protect themselves and become more resilient through flood infrastructure projects.
Working as part of the team that support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Jason serves as the regional service center lead for FEMA Region VII (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas), supporting the Risk MAP program. Recently he worked on a project that provided structure-specific risk assessments and a mitigation benefits ratio—using our Mitigation Benefits Estimator (MBE) tool—to a community that is proactively planning and mitigating its flood risk.
As a professional engineer and senior project manager, Jason’s committed to providing clients with excellent customer service. In his spare time, you might catch him at the ballpark enjoying a baseball game or on the local course playing a round of golf. However, most of his time seems to be spent at his stepdaughter’s events or coaching one of her teams.
