Growing up in the shadow of engineering feats like the Grand Coulee Dam and Columbia Basin Reclamation project made it easy for Mark to choose an engineering career in water infrastructure. Now, as a project manager and engineer of record, he works to help clients with projects from conception to construction.
Mark's technical expertise includes water and heavy civil infrastructure such as dam rehabilitations and removals, waste containment facility design, coal combustion residual closures, and hydraulic and hydrologic engineering. He’s worked on complex, multidisciplinary projects, ranging from remediating contaminated waterways to risk reduction of high-hazard dams. As the Western US civil engineering lead in our Energy group, he appreciates the opportunity to mentor his team in their career development, grow our water and heavy civil infrastructure services, and lead successful projects.
Away from his water infrastructure leadership work, Mark enjoys volunteering, hiking, skiing, and water activities.
