Terry has more than three decades of experience in the land development industry. Throughout his career, he’s worked on a wide variety of projects and disciplines—from mining and mixed-use development to solar power, bridges, and bus rapid transit. Over the last 10 years, he’s concentrated on erosion and sediment control (ESC) clients to create site-specific strategic plans to meet their demanding targets.
Today, as an ESC lead, Terry builds on his earth science background to mentor our Community Development group. Together, they develop ESC designs and installations that help protect the natural environment during civil construction activities. He also works with municipal and regional regulatory officials to promote improvements in ESC processes. Additionally, he serves as a board member of the International Erosion Control Association, Canadian Chapter, and the Erosion and Sediment Control Association of Alberta. He’s also a Canadian Standards Association member, serving on their ESC technical subcommittee.
When he isn’t working to help protect the natural environment, Terry enjoys getting out in nature and staying active in any season—whether it’s hiking, cycling, or skiing.
