Phillip is an electrical and I&C designer specializing in water and wastewater controls and SCADA implementation. He produces and reviews process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), programmable logic controller (PLC) panel layouts, system architecture diagrams, motor control center (MCC) layouts, one-line diagrams, and electrical plans. Philip is also responsible for construction phase services including review of shop drawings and submittals, assisting in the development of control system software for PLC’s and human machine interfaces (HMI), and responding to RFIs.
Recently, Phillip served as the electrical/I&C engineer and startup and commissioning coordinator for the Groton Utilities (GU) Water Treatment Plant Upgrade in Groton Connecticut. He supported the GU upgrade through submittal review, responding to requests for information (RFI), and electrical inspections. Philip then served as the startup and commissioning coordinator, overseeing the startup of pumping systems, dissolved air flotation units (DAF), manganese contactors, SCADA/control systems and chemical systems.
In his spare time, Phillip enjoys playing rugby and whitewater kayaking.
