Right out of college, Susan’s first post providing environmental support for a road safety project set her on a career-long path. She has 25 years of experience and focuses on transportation-related National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and public involvement.
Susan specializes in projects for the Texas Department of Transportation. Over the span of two decades, she worked on nearly every segment of Grand Parkway—the outer loop around Houston that will be one of the longest ring roads in the world when finished. She enjoys collaborating with the different specialists that come together for these projects, from engineers to historians to biologists. She uses her expertise in public involvement to help clients in both public and private sectors deliver complex projects.
When she isn’t providing environmental support, Susan trades her office and laptop for a boat and fishing pole. She’s always loved spending the day on the water, bay fishing with her family along the Texas and Louisiana coasts.
