Currently a process designer, Parin holds a PhD in civil engineering with a focus on biological wastewater treatment processes. With six years of experience in academic research, her graduate studies most recently focused on the Anammox process—an optimal process for the treatment of nitrogen-rich wastewater streams. Her tenacious problem-solving and passion for research informs everything she does, including her role with the Stantec Institute for Water Technology & Policy.
Bringing a persistent spirit to her work as a process designer, Parin designs projects involving provision of potable water, disposal of wastewater and sewage, design of industrial and municipal treatment facilities, and development of new equipment and techniques for processing.
Spending time with family and friends is what Parin enjoys most outside of work—hosting small gatherings, traveling, and cooking with her husband, or having a cup of tea with her twin sister. Parin loves playing the piano or being out in nature.
