Dominic has more than 25 years of experience in the design and implementation of geomatics systems, databases, and applications. This includes technologies and tools, such as land surveying, used in working with geographic data and converting it to geographic information. He uses his expertise to design geomatics solutions that help transform communities.
Because he started his career in the municipal field, Dominic has in-depth knowledge of the geomatics environment in terms of the software, platforms, and applications used by municipalities. Over the years, he’s acquired an extensive understanding of land inventory and inspection applications, dashboards, global positioning systems (GPS) technology, and interactive maps.
Away from his work turning data into geographic information and knowledge, Dominic serves on several committees including Adresse Québec, Next Generation 911 (NG911), the GOcité group, the Table de concertation régionale de la Montérégie, and the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM) sharing group.
