As a senior architect, Brian brings his passion for architecture and design to large, complex projects that he leads from concept through construction. With a focus on the commercial market sector, he believes that buildings should be beautiful and enrich people’s lives—not only is a project about health and well-being, but it should be sustainably designed for its permanency.
Helping clients realize their vision and goals to the greatest extent possible is how Brian measures a project’s success. One of his most memorable experiences involved working on Lakehouse on Seventeenth in Denver. He collaborated with the client from start to finish, where they prioritized the design and impact of development on the community.
Brian is engaged in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and participates in the local chapter of Building Healthy Places Committee. He’s also on a task force with the Downtown Denver Partnership looking at how to tackle adaptive reuse in the city’s Upper Downtown. In his downtime, Brian is an avid mountain biker and enjoys staying active with most mountain sports, from fishing and paddleboarding to hiking, climbing, running, and skiing.
