Amelia’s project experience has taken her throughout Arizona and California performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for area drainage master studies. This work has been in support of FEMA Risk MAP production efforts as well as sediment transport modeling in support of feasibility studies, where she presented her findings to the US International Boundary and Water Commission.
Before joining Stantec, Amelia had been involved in all aspects of project planning, technical execution, and client and stakeholder coordination. She gained a comprehensive understanding of the engineering process and valuable insight into successful project implementation. Amelia discovered her love for programming at college at Arizona State University and has since worked towards expanding her skillset in Python. She believes in deploying automation and data analytics on all her projects to improve their outcomes.
Outside of work, Amelia enjoys hiking in Arizona’s natural beauty, relaxing through yoga, or taking her new puppy to the dog park.
