Matthew has more than 15 years of experience in waterfront project design, construction administration, inspection, and project management. He’s worked on marine and heavy-structure projects for both government and private sectors including nearly every type of marine terminal as well as shipyards and U.S. Department of Defense facilities across the US Northeast region.
Frequently, Matthew coordinates with and delivers port projects in conjunction with colleagues in the roadways, aviation, rail, energy, defense, and buildings sectors. He’s dedicated to advancing the practice of port and marine engineering by volunteering on international and local technical committees with the Coast, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute (COPRI) and the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC).
Through his technical and advocacy work, Matthew has had the opportunity to transit the Panama Canal, travel the Singapore Straight, and tour North Sea offshore wind farms.
